The Animal Emergency Aid program provides medical care for animals affected by the ongoing war in North Kivu. Countless domestic animals have been displaced by families who had to flee or could no longer afford to keep them, while others have been injured and wild animals have lost their habitat. IPPE's team treats wild and street animals in need and raises awareness about responsible care and kindness toward all animals.
